Forget the forecast. Go anyway.

RainClub is our free movement community for New Zealand & Australia — a gentle nudge to get outside, breathe, and walk, whatever the sky is doing. No fees. No pressure. Just better days on your feet.

A small daily reset · backed by ZEA-TEX™ waterproofing
What is RainClub?

A reason to get outside — especially when it rains.

We made waterproof shoes so the weather stops being an excuse. RainClub is the rest of the idea: a free, no-pressure community built around small outdoor resets that are good for your head as much as your step count.

01

Movement, not metrics

No streaks to protect, no leaderboards. Just one small walk at a time — at whatever pace today allows.

02

A calmer head

Time outdoors is one of the simplest resets there is. We build prompts around noticing, breathing, and slowing down.

03

Made for our weather

NZ & AU throw everything at you. ZEA-TEX™ keeps your feet dry so a grey forecast never has the final say.

04

Better together

Tag your walks, share a view, see where others are stepping out. Free to join, friendly by design.

Join the club It’s genuinely free — RainClub is about getting people outside, not selling more shoes.

The RainClub idea

Water keeps moving. So can you.

Rain doesn’t stop. It pools, runs, finds a way downhill and carries on. We think the best days work the same — you don’t wait for perfect conditions, you keep moving through them.

That’s the whole philosophy behind OSZEA. Build footwear that shrugs off the weather, then give people a reason to actually use it. RainClub turns “I’ll go when it clears up” into “I’ll go now.”

Built to keep up: every OSZEA pair is waterproofed with ZEA-TEX™ — a breathable membrane that keeps rain out and lets your feet breathe, so a wet path is just a path.

Weather rituals

A small ritual for whatever the sky does

RainClub isn’t only for sunny breaks. Match the weather you’ve got to a tiny practice — each one takes minutes and turns the conditions into the point, not the problem.

When it’s raining

Walk toward the wettest part of the path and watch where the water goes. Let the sound do the talking.

“What am I ready to let move through me?”

Find a rainy-day walk

When it’s windy

Stop fighting it. Relax your shoulders, soften your jaw, and let the wind remind you that resistance burns energy.

“Where in my week can I soften instead of push?”

Try the breathing reset

When it’s grey & flat

Name three colours you don’t usually notice — moss, slate, a red door. Grey days hide the most detail.

“What good thing am I overlooking right now?”

Pick a city walk

When the sun’s out

Take the long way. Walk five minutes further than you planned and put your phone fully away for the detour.

“What did I keep just for myself today?”

Walk safe

A reset only works if you get home dry

RainClub is gentle by design — but the outdoors deserves respect, especially in NZ & AU weather. A few simple habits before you head out.

01

Check the conditions first

02

Tell someone your plan

03

Stick to marked tracks

04

Turn back before dark

05

Carry water & a layer

06

Leave it as you found it

RainClub challenges are suggestions, not guided tours. Always assess tracks yourself and follow local advice — in NZ check MetService & DOC alerts, in AU check BOM & your state parks service. If conditions look unsafe, save the walk for another day.

Good to know

RainClub questions

Yes — completely. There’s no membership fee and you don’t need to own OSZEA shoes to take part. RainClub exists to get people outside; the weekly emails and challenge cards are on us.

No. Your challenge progress, saved walks and completed challenges are stored right on your device, so you can start straight away. Joining by email just adds the weekly prompts — handy if you want a regular nudge.

Not at all. Pick whatever fits your day, your area and the weather. The 30-day challenge is a guide, not a rulebook — skip, repeat and reorder freely.

The walks reference well-known public tracks across NZ & AU, but RainClub isn’t a guiding service. Always check the official track status, your fitness and the forecast before heading out.

Anything comfortable and weather-ready. If you want dry feet whatever the path throws at you, our Tasman and Urban Essentials are waterproofed with ZEA-TEX™ — each challenge card suggests the fit we’d pick.

No — it’s a simple wellbeing tool to help you slow down. It isn’t a substitute for medical or mental-health support. If breathing exercises make you feel unwell, stop and rest, and speak to a professional if you have concerns.
